Minnesota beat coach Pam Borton's former school Vermont 74-59. Vermont's four game win streak was snapped. You will have to click through to read the Vermont story because, for some unknown reason they don't give a specific address for their stories on their site, just the generic. Ohio State beat Longwood 68-33

UConn dropped Purdue 66-55

Indiana survived instate rival Evansville 83-80

Iowa State won in Iowa City over Iowa 80-74. Of course for such a big game the Des Moines Register has a report on the battle for young girls hearts, minds and allegiances in Iowa.
Megan Ronhovde of West Central, MN had 19 for ISU. Krista VandeVenter, Osseo returned to the floor for the Hawkeyes and was held scoreless. Zoraa Quoie, Woodbury got in for Iowa, but didn't score.

Arkansas State handed South Dakota State its second loss 67-52.

Valparaiso rallied to edge Loyola of Chicago 77-74. Prior Lake's Tamra Braun had her 17th double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
