Minnesota beat coach Pam Borton's former school Vermont 74-59. Vermont's four game win streak was snapped. You will have to click through to read the Vermont story because, for some unknown reason they don't give a specific address for their stories on their site, just the generic. UConn dropped Purdue 66-55

Indiana survived instate rival Evansville 83-80

Iowa State won in Iowa City over Iowa 80-74. Of course for such a big game the Des Moines Register has a report on the battle for young girls hearts, minds and allegiances in Iowa.
Megan Ronhovde of West Central, MN had 19 for ISU. Krista VandeVenter, Osseo returned to the floor for the Hawkeyes and was held scoreless. Zoraa Quoie, Woodbury got in for Iowa, but didn't score.

Arkansas State handed South Dakota State its second loss 67-52.
