In an intstate battle it was Iowa State beating Drake 70-62. ISU ruled the paint according to the Des Moines Register. Iowa State won all three games this season against instate rivals. ISU's Megan Ronhovde, West Central MN, had 7.

Akron beat Duquesne 55-43. Allison Schoff, Bloomington Kennedy had 10, and teammate Mandy Holzer, Jordan had 7 both off the bench for Akron.

Central Michigan dumped Marygrove 94-70

In the battle of initials IPFW had the better of it than IUPUI 59-50
