20u NATIONAL TEAM
The 12 member 20u national team has been announced. From the coverage area Jolene Anderson of South Shore HS WI and the University of Wisconsin made the squad. They will be playing in Mexico August 8-12.

MAGIC IN SWEDEN

The Michigan Magic, a team from the upper peninsula is traveling and playing in Sweden. Here is a report form one of the players, Shannon Slattery, on the experience. Before that the team was in Denmark. They trounced the Danish National 17U team 102-64. Here is more on the game experience from the Marquette Mining Journal.

HAWAII SELECT LOSES TO OMAHA CRUSADERS

The Hawaii Select squad lost to the Omaha Crusaders 56-54 in the championship game of the Vision Sports National Championship in Las Vegas. At one point they trailed by 17 points.
