The season is now over. The work at repairing or refurbishing the Lynx can now begin in earnest. The StarTribune goes over the weak spots. I would put defense #1 and not #5 in their list. The Strib also lists what needs to be done. I also think they need a post player that is effective. If Ohlde is a true four, then she is out of position now. Hayden is a back up. So look for a point and look for a post. Of course the first item on the shopping list is who will coach the team. Forget about looking in the collegiate ranks. Why would they leave their personal fiefdom? I would not be surprised to see recycled NBA types try their hand at the women's game. This seems to be the trend. But trying to get Brenda Frese, or Pat Summit, or Auriemma is a foolish dream.

As far as this game goes it ended in the second quarter. To sum it up LA was 9/11 their last 11 possessions. MN was the mirror opposite at 2/11.

Augustus had her secod worst day as a Lynx. If she wants to be playing in the playoffs in the month of Augustus, then she will need the quality help to get the job done.
