MICHIGAN OPENERS
#1 Brighton was dropped by Saginaw Nouvel 75-60. They had 12 turnovers in the first quarter which did not help matters. It is the second game covered in the Livingston Press & Argus.
Northview beat Rockford 60-49 in overtime. Maddie Burnett led Northview with 16. From the Grand Rapids Press.

Carl Scales will be the new coach at Eagan. Scales coached Metro Stars White 16s this season. He was a sophomore coach at Hopkins for four years, and last year he was an assistant with the boys at Eastview.

Shanlee Taken Alive and Marlee Finley are both attending four time A champion Mandan.
Taken Alive, a three year starter at McLaughlin, SD moved to Mandan in January. The 5-9 guard had close to 1000 points before moving.
Finley is from Four Winds-Warwick. The 5-11 guard/forward has been the mainstay at FWW and averaged a double double in the 2006 North American Indigenous Games in leading her team to second place in the 17-19 division.
