Michelle Snow had 20/20 vision with her double/double --21 points/23 rebounds (14 defensive) . The Lynx came within a whisper of winning and wasted a strong effort from Nicole Ohlde in the overtime loss. The key break point came in overtime. Houston scored on five straight possessions as Sheryl Swoopes closed out the game and made money shots.
The Lynx had hands in the face, so that isn't a problem. They break down on penetration, but that isn't happening quite as often. They do get hurt on the skips to the weak side and slow closeouts.
Next up: tomorrow morning with the general news of the day. Another Lynx analysis of the offense vs Houston. And a recap of the action at the Sweet 16 HS tournament at St. Benedict's in St. Joseph, MN.
