MICHIGAN SEASON SWITCH
More folks have opinions, usually all negative about the switch. Here are some letters to the editor from ordinary people in the Detroit Free Press. Another article in the Bay City Times echos many of the same concerns.

CAPITAL AREA SHOWCASE
September 13, the Breslin Center at Michigan State will be hosting the fifth annual Capital Area Showcase. There will be three games starting at 5:30 pm. 10 all area players will be playing in this event. Find out more in the Lansing State Journal.

SELFLESS ACT
Last season Becky Bosserd of Hope College volunteered to take herself off the roster before the NCAA DIII playoffs. Hope had 16 players, and only 15 could dress for the tournament. As a result of her actions, Rob Zaagman set up the Rebecca Bosserd Scholarship fund to any Hope student that shows that kind of spirit. Read more about the acts from the Grand Rapids Press.
