Whalen to Join Gopher Staff

WHALEN ON GOPHER STAFF
Lindsey Whalen, former Gopher All American, and current player for the WNBA Connecticut Sun, will join the staff as an administrative assistant. Her main focus will be building community relations. This is a definite boost for Minnesota. Here is the Gopher press release on the hire. The Women's Hoops Blog speculates on Whalen's chances to join the National Team.
