Nicole Smart of Ada-Borup has veraballed North Dakota. The 5-8 guard averaged 21 points for the 31-1 State A champion Cougars.
Smart did not play on any AAU/Club team this summer.
Smart is the 17th player overall in the Minnesota 2009 class to verbal and the 9th to verbal a D1 school.
