SUMMER HOOPS SERIES
The Eau Claire Leader Telegram continues their Summer Hoops series with a look at the College Camp experience. Included is an article on how the coaches prepare for the camp season, and the myriad of options players have during the summer. One college assistant bemoans the fact that "No one works on fundamentals anymore."

COACHING NEWS
Former Gopher Shannon Schonrock has been hired as full time assistant at Winona State. Schonrock played her high school ball at Blue Earth and has been an assistant at Wayzata. She was part time at WSU last year. From the Mankato Free Press.

ILLNESS UPDATE
Jackson Lumen Christi player Kelcie Wilson has been removed from a ventilator and is breathing on her own. Wilson has meningitis. From the Jackson Citizen Patriot.

SUMMER BREAK
The North Tartan coaches are enjoying vacation time with their families after a full summer of basketball. They are also busy with the phone calls from colleges enquiring about players.
