Luze Signs, Della Donne Released, SE Signings

LUZE SIGNS
Maria Luze of Brookings, South Dakota has signed with South Dakota School of Mines. Luze is a 5-8 guard. From the Brookings Register.

Luze is the 24th player overall from the SD 2008 class to sign, and the 15th headed to NAIA.

DELLA DONNE RELEASED
UConn has released 6-5 prize recruit Elena Della Donne from her scholarship. EDD will now be able to play any sport. EDD is enrolled at Delaware and it appears will be playing volleyball. From ESPN.

Delaware Online looks at the recruiting process, the pressure, the turmoil. Diana Taurasi is quoted: "If you're not ready for the big time, the pressure, the training, the mental toughness, then you're probably better off not going. You'll be broken. It's only for the tough people."
