The Barn was bursting in Minnesota's 71-53 win over Wisconsin. the inside combination of Ashley Ellis-Milan and Leslie Knight dominated the paint. Fosston's Kelly Roysland led MN with 20. From the StarTribune. and the Pioneer Press. The Wisconsin State Journal focuses on the poor first half by the Badgers.

Iowa slipped Northwestern 63-61. Megan Skouby had 25 points for the Hawkeyes. Osseo's Krista VandeVenter had 2 for Iowa; Breck's Melissa Miller came up with 16 for NW. The Des Moines Register has more details.

Michigan surprised Penn State 55-41 for their first conference win of the year.

Indiana stopped Illinois 71-64. Bloomington Kennedy's Jenna Smith had 12; Johnston, IA's Lori Bjork had 14 for Illinois.

Michigan State is recovering from the Turtle Stampede on Saturday. There were lessons to be learned from the route according to the State News, the campus newspaper at MSU.

Western Kentucky stopped a South Dakota State rally in a 67-61 win. Flambeau, WI's Andrea Verdegan had 13 to lead SDSU. St. Peter's Megan Vogel added 12.

Louisiana Tech dropped Hawaii 64-53.

Utah escaped with a 49-48 win over New Mexico. Roseville's Amy Beggin had 6 for New Mexico.

Loyola Marymount ran over Portland 54-34. Plainview's Anne Graner had four for Portland.

Wichita State beat Missouri State 75-67. Mpls North's Daria Frazier had 7 for Wichita State.
