Old Abes: 5-3, Wildcats: 4-4
River Falls got down in the beginning of first quarter and could never make up the lost points.
ECM led at the breaks: 18-13, 35-31, 43-37
Katie Herum, Sr. continues to lead the offense for the Wildcats, with 19 on the night. Tessa Feyereisen contributed 11 and Tessa Wells added 8.

The real story of the night was the incredible game put on by Katie Pospishil, Jr., 6'1 but plays like a guard. She was diving for loose balls, taking the ball away from River Falls players with precision. She scored 8 in the first half and 11 in the second half to finish with 19 points. Her rebounding was spectacular as well. She knows how to use her speed, size and quickness to beat up opponents. She has been injured and recovering, but tonight she was able to play a full game and it helped the Old Abes. Outside shooting by Jessica Rene, Jr. was good too. She finished with 3 3s, a 2 and 3 fts. for 14 points.

Eau Claire moved to an uncontested 3rd in the Big River Conference. Looking at the young age of the Old Abes, good things are yet to come. Coached by Steve Smith.
