Krysten Boogaard, a 6-3 center from Regina, Saskatchewan has made a commitment to Kansas. Boogaard's brother plays for the MN Wild Hockey team. Boogaard is a member of the Canadian 17 developmental team.

Minnesota rallied, but fell short on the road in Illinois 64-54. The Gophers were below freezing in their shooting. Also from the MN Daily. Bloomington Kennedy's Jenna Smith had 18 in a redemption game for Illinois.

Ohio State iced Wisconsin 74-51. Wisconsin shot 29% for the night. "Ice Kohld" as the Wisconsin State Journal writes. Ice is also mentioned in the Capital Times. Concordia Roseville's Sarah Ingison had two for Wisconsin.
The Badger Herald writes up their twin towers of Danille Ward and Caitlin Gibson. The Twin Towers had a combined three points against OSU.

Iowa State upset #22 Texas 67-56. ISU broke a three game losing streak and as Lyndsey Medders, who had 23, said "we all got sick and tired of losing," From the Des Moines Register too. West Central's Megan Ronhovde had five for ISU.

Texas A&M pounded Colorado 74-58. Mounds View's Hannah Skildum failed to score for Colorado.

HORIZON
UW Green Bay delivered a 82-39 ka-thumping of Cleveland State. The top 3 scorers for UWGB each had 12. The Green Bay Press Gazette is waiting for some Horizon league competition.

The Butler did it in a 59-51 win over Detroit. Benilde's Chanica Hall had 3 for Detroit.

UW Milwaukee slapped Youngstown State 60-44. Menasha's Traci Edwards and Moline IL's Katie Fournier each had 12 for UWM.

MISSOURI VALLEY
Evansville aced Drake 67-62 in overtime. St. Croix Lutheran's Lauren Dybing had 10 for Drake. Dybing tied it at the end of regulation.

Southern Illinois raced past Creighton 63-43. Eastview's Michelle Kaus had 8, and Mpls North's Tyrai Bronson did not score for Creighton.

MOUNTAIN WEST
Brigham Young rolled Colorado State 69-56. Breck's Kelly Finley had 2 for CSU.

New Mexico soared over Air Force 60-46. It was New Mexico's 20 straight win over the Academy. Roseville's Amy Beggin had 6 for NM

OTHERS
Hawaii beat Idaho 71-61. Australian Tanya Smith from Jannali New South Wales led Hawaii with 23.

Denver surfed Florida Atlantic 76-60. Breck's Megan Givens had 3, and Bloomington Kennedy's Ashly Robinson did not score for Denver.

Weber State edged Montana State 67-66. Breck's Alyssa Nelson had 2 points for MSU.

TN Martin knocked off Austin Peay 64-54. Tartan's Jackie Goetzke did not score for APSU.

South Dakota carved up UN Omaha 70-55. North St. Paul's Cayla Hargrove had 9 for UNO.
