The refs didn't apply the rule correctly in the MN/SDSU buzzer controversy from Sunday. It is the clock, not the LED lights on the basket, that matter. But it won't bring back the win. From USA Today., the StarTribune, and the MN Daily.

Wisconsin's Danielle Ward has been given the green light to play against Ohio State. Ward had a high ankle sprain on Dec. 31. From the Capital Times.

Kansas knocked down Sacramento State 69-50. Sheridan County ND's Rebecca Feickert had 2 off the bench for Kansas.

Nebraska beat Kansas State 70-63. Cannon Falls' Cory Montgomery did not score for Nebraska.
Iowa State's game was postponed as was Colorado's.

Ball State defeated Northern Illinois 81-72. Holy Angels' Kristin Wiener again had a big night with 21 points for NIU.

Eastern Michigan downed Central Michigan 77-62

Toledo edged Western Michigan 76-72

Stony Brook defeated Maine 79-66. Breck's Lindsey Hugstad-Vaa had 13 as a starter, while Hopkins' Abby Greene did not score off the bench for Maine.

Gustavus drubbed Carleton 68-48 and now are alone in 2nd. Hudson's Jess Vadnais had 22 for Gustavus. Rosemount's Amber Connor had 21 for Carleton.

St. Benedict edged St. Thomas 47-44. Champlin Park's Melissa Gotchnik had 14 to lead St. Thomas. Maple Grove's Elle Boone and Ariel Tauer each had 12 for St. Benedict.

Hamline downed Macalester 65-50. Britta Schwartzhoff had 18 for Hamline.

Bethel ran over Augsburg 90-48. Minnetonka's Heather Davis had 17 for Bethel.

Concordia Moorhead crunched St. Mary's 64-42. Grafton's Annie Keeley had 14 for CM.

St. Olaf stunned St. Catherine 66-60. Shakopee's Sarah Schneider had 20 for St. Kate's to lead all scorers. Melrose's Kelsey Oja had 16 for St. Olaf.

Eau Claire booted Superior for the 39th straight time 72-43. Eau Claire North's Michelle Burns had 16 for UWEC.

LaCrosse squeaked by River Falls 53-52 on Nicole Palmer's buzzer beater.

Stevens Point smushed Platteville 69-51. Two Rivers' Laura Neuenfeldt had 18 for UWSP.

Whitewater rolled Oshkosh 68-59. Whitewater had lost 16 straight to Oshkosh.

Mount Marty shocked Northwestern IA 64-49. Mt Marty was down 10 at halftime. From the Sioux City Journal.

Mayville State continues to climb in the NAIA poll. They are now #8, up from 12. Morningside is #6, Northwestern IA #13, Minot State #16, Cardinal Stritch #20. Aquinas #22. and Mount Marty #24.

Anoka-Ramsey ran over Ridgewater 64-49. Maple Grove's Sonja Ellingson led AR with 19.
