BIG 12: Iowa State swept Big 12 player and rookie of the week with Lyndsey Medders and Toccara Ross picking up the honors.

HORIZON: Menasha's Traci Edwards is the Horizon player of the week thanks to her 42 point performance on Saturday night.

MIDCONTINENT
Oakland trounced on Southern Utah 83-36. It was Oakland's fourth Straight win.

Western Illinois beat former member Chicago State 63-51. Mpls North's Faith Buchanan had 6 for Chicago State.

UMKC knocked off IUPUI 50-42 in the battle of abbreviations. Wayzata's Jowan Ortega had 3, and St. Paul Central's Marta Waalen did not score.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
NORTH CENTRAL: Duluth East's Erica Quigley of St. Cloud State and BGMR's Kierah Kimbrough of North Dakota share the North Central honor this week. It is Quigley's 5th award this year, Kimbrough's 4th.

NORTHERN SUN: Spencer, IA's Amy Lawson of Bemidji State picked up the honor this week in the Northern Sun. This is her 2nd honor this year.

Bethel blitzed Hamline 84-67. Sioux Falls Washington's Annegret Nautsch had 18 for Bethel. Isle's Grace Weinreich also had 18 for Hamline.

Carleton slipped by Concordia Moorhead 58-57. Hopkins' Annie Isler made the steal and Orono's Megan Milusenic scored the game winner for Carleton. Rosemount's Amber Connor had 14 to lead Carleton.

Gustavus defeated Augsburg 72-65. Hudson's Jess Vadnais reached the 1000 point mark and scored 20 points in the win. Hutchinson Bri Monahan added 21 for Gustavus.

St. Benedict built an early lead to defeat St. Mary's 65-49. Champlin Park's Mindy Schmidt continues to have a hot hand for St. Benedict as she hit for 20.

St. Catherine catapulted past Macalester 66-45. Mpls Southwest's Trina PaStarr had 13 to lead Macalester.

St. Olaf outscored St. Thomas 56-50. North Branch's Christina Sampson had 21 for St. Olaf.

Gustavus' Jess Vadnais was named player of the week in the MIAC.

Edmunds Central's Holly Novstrup (Vogel) of Presentation went over the 1000 point mark this weekend. She is the 6th player for Presentation to achieve the feat. From the Aberdeen American News.
