The Grand Rapids Press thought the game turned when MSU went inside. Mpls North's Mia Johnson had 10 points for MSU. Osseo's Krista VandeVenter led Iowa with 13 points.

Wisconsin pounded Northwestern in Evanston 74-50. The Badgers focused on the present according to the Wisconsin State Journal. South Shore's Jolene Anderson had 18 points for Wisconsin. Concordia Roseville's Sarah Ingison chipped in with two. Breck's Melissa Miller had four points for NW.

Vanderbilt trounced Georgia Tech 72-55. Fairmont's Amy Malo played, but did not score for Vanderbilt.
