Minnesota zoned out Penn State 75-62. The StarTribune talks about going against the grain defensively, the MN Daily also mentions the changing defense. The Pioneer Press zeroed in on the free throw line.

Michigan State beat Iowa for the second time this season this time in East Lansing 67-57. MSU used a strong opening in the second half to separate the two teams. From the Daily Iowan. The Grand Rapids Press thought the game turned when MSU went inside. Mpls North's Mia Johnson had 10 points for MSU. Osseo's Krista VandeVenter led Iowa with 13 points.

Wisconsin pounded Northwestern in Evanston 74-50. The Badgers focused on the present according to the Wisconsin State Journal. South Shore's Jolene Anderson had 18 points for Wisconsin. Concordia Roseville's Sarah Ingison chipped in with two. Breck's Melissa Miller had four points for NW.

Purdue pulverized Indiana 81-58

Ohio State defeated Illinois 62-52. Bloomington Kennedy's Jenna Smith had 12 points for Illinois.

MISSOURI VALLEY
Bradley beat Missouri State 76-68. Waconia's Jenny Van Kirk did not score for Bradley.

Northern Iowa reaped Wichita State 66-56. Mpls North's Daria Frazier had four points for WSU. Ottumwa's Tara King had 24 to lead UNI.

OTHER GAMES
Vanderbilt trounced Georgia Tech 72-55. Fairmont's Amy Malo played, but did not score for Vanderbilt.

Boise State beat Hawaii 62-53

JUCO
Ridgewater defeated Fergus Falls 60-44. From the West Central Tribune
