In a battle of AAA powers it was DeLaSalle defeating host Marshall 56-49. DLS's Aaryn Booker led both teams with 20.

CONFERENCE CALL
Winona's Hope Lutheran will join the Southeast conference next year. Schaefer Academy in Rochester will also join to make it a 10 team league. Hope Lutheran coaches are all volunteer. From the Winona Daily News.

Aitkin's Emily Mehr has been named Athlete of the Week in the Brainerd Dispatch.

Carlie Waibel, Lake of the Woods hit the 1000 mark on Thursday in a 49-30 loss to BGMR. Waibel is the 4th LOW player reach the mark. Now she is gunning to top sister Ellie who ended up at 1201. From the Grand Forks Herald.
