Hopkins handed Park-Cottage Grove their second straight loss 59-48. A big difference in this game was at the line. PCG shot 12, Hopkins made 20 and shot 26. Steph Sension led Hopkins with 15. Jackie Hiebert had 10. The perimeter game for Hopkins stepped up with Hanna Muegge racking up 12 (8 at the line), and Jenna Lillemoe adding 10. PCG had three players foul out in the contest: Jackie Voigt, Katyla Leick, and Tina Fisher. Voigt was the only PCGer in double figures with 10.

Moorhead pounded Thief River Falls 69-36. From the Fargo Forum.

St. Cloud Tech halted Sartell 47-40. plus area recaps in the St. Cloud Times.

Seven players were in double figures as St. Paul Central utterly destroyed Como Park 98-21.

Wayzata stunned Edina 53-34. It was a one point game at half time, but Wayzata outscored the #5 team by 18 in the second half.

Abby Rittenhouse of Burnsville reached the 1000 point mark with 13 points in a 55-48 loss to Eden Prairie. She is the 2nd Burnsville player to reach the mark.

LATE REPORTS
Rachael Bohnen, and Clara Waddell both went over the 1000 point mark for Cook County. Waddell reached the mark against McGregor last Friday with 21 points in a 77-38 win. On Tuesday Bohnen passed the 1000 mark with 18 points in a 60-22 win over Silver Bay. They are the 3rd and 4th player from Cook County to make the 1000 mark. The second straight game this week for Hutchinson was a heartbreaker as they lost to New Prague on Thursday 38-37. From the Hutchinson Leader.

The MN Suns just launched their new website. This year they will have 7 teams ranging from 11U up to the Jr level. MN Suns is a highly competitive basketball club that gives their kids the chance not only to compete at a local level but also an opportunity to compete at the National level. This year they will attend exposure tournaments like the Windy City Classic in Chicago and the Miss Basketball Dakota Showcase in Sioux Falls along with the AAU Nationals. Come join the fun!!
