SUNDAY RESULTS
Today it was a two parter. In game #1 Minnesota Dynamite beat Triple Threat 38-16 in the championship for the 16s in the MYAS tournament at Park Center. This game highlights the dangers of off-season ball---Triple Threat was missing post Amy Waterman. Her inside presence was definitely missed. I will report on this game on Thursday. On Monday I will write on the first two quarterfinals, Tuesday the first semis, and Wednesday the second semis.

Later in the afternoon it was off to Concordia St. Paul for the South/Central All Star game. No it is not Mpls South vs St. Paul Central, but a combination of players throughout southern Minnesota. The players came from Goodhue in the east to Blue Earth in the south to Montevideo in the west to Pine City in the north. In the end it was the Maroons over the Golds 45-39. The Maroons outscored Gold 14-4 the last 4:40 of the game to win the game. Maroon's Julianne Mitchell drained two consecutive 3s with 2 minutes to go. She was named the game's MVP. I will have more on this right away.

next up: South Central All Star Game
