MINNESOTA REPORTS
The Spectrum Sting will start a girls basketball team next winter. Spectrum is a charter school in Elk River. From the Elk River Star News.

NORTH DAKOTA REPORTS
The Minot Daily News has released the names of eight individuals that have applied for the Minot girls basketball job.

IOWA REPORTS
The Marshalltown Times Republican has released their all area team and Jessica McDowell of AGWSR is their player of the year.

COLLEGE REPORTS
AWARDS
Wisconsin's Jolene Anderson won the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award as the best player 5-8 or smaller this year.

SIGNING
Mayville State has added five players for next year: Sarah Bakke (Larimore, ND via North Dakota), Samantha Dravland (Grafton, ND); Erin Ericson (Hatton-Northwood, ND); Katelyn Peters (Grand Forks Red River) and Brittney Forsberg (Grygla-Goodridge, MN);

Iowa Central has signed six players for next year. Included are Baileigh O’Brien and Ashley Vratny of Fort Dodge, Kristen Twait of Manson Northwest Webster, Jess Fevold of Webster City, Jessica Hansen of West Monona and Kelsey Summers of Waterloo East. From the Fort Dodge Messenger.

ST. CLOUD STATE THREE
St. Cloud State will be signing three forwards on April 16. The three include Christina Steele, Apple Valley; Aaryn Booker, DeLaSalle; and Amy Frye of Hudson. The quotes are from the high school coaches. From the St. Cloud Times.

Wisconsin coach Lisa Stone will stay for another year, but the margin for error is small according to Barry Alvarez the Wisconsin AD and the Wisconsin State Journal. Comments also have been coming in.
