MINNESOTA REPORTS
HEART HELP
Laura Griffiths of Cherry has had heart surgery seven hours yesterday and former senator Mark Dayton helped make it happen. From the StarTribune.

You may need to register to read the article in the Hibbing Daily Tribune, but last night there was a Northeast MN All Star game won by the White over the Red 86-75. Griffiths was on the players mind there too.

ALL STAR GAMES
One of the Orth All Star Games will take place tonight at Glencoe-Silver Lake at 6 pm with Wright County seniors vs McLeod County seniors. From the Hutchinson Leader.

COACHING NEWS
Tara Seifert will be the sole head coach next season at Chaska. She was co-coach with Bob Downs this season. Downs has retired. Both were named coach of the year by the coaching association at AAAA.

TOURNAMENTS THIS WEEKEND
There will be a four team 19/17 tournament at Park Center. The 16s have an 8 team bracket also at Park Center.

IOWA REPORTS
Lewis Central's Mallory Husz has been named the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil's player of the year for the third straight year.
