STRICKLAND VERBALS
Kaira Strickland of Minneapolis Roosevelt verballed University Illinois-Chicago (D1) today. The 6-1 left handed wing averaged 21.5 for the 17-13 Teddies. Roosevelt finished second to Jordan in section 4AA.

UIC has a couple of Minnesota players on the roster--Jessie Miller of Holy Angels and Cassie Johnson of Eastview. Both will be juniors next season.

Strickland is the 69th Minnesota player in the 2008 class to make a college commitment and the 23rd to head to a D1 program.
