RADIO
The Al Woods show named gbbrecruit as the site of the day on his radio show on April 17. The first portion of the 15 minute show deals with emails from parents and players on the recruiting process.
Here is the Al Woods Recruiting site. This site will answer many questions in the recruiting process.

VERBALS/SIGNINGS
Northland has three girls basketball players that have made a deposit for school:
Ashleigh Galligan, Campbellsport, WI 6-0 F 9.6 ppg
Kristin Zimmer, Laona, WI 5-10 F
Ashley Runge, Grand Rapids, MN 5-6 G 15.5 ppg

UW River Falls has added three more players:
Taylor House, 5-10 post player from Maple Grove
Alise Holst, a 5-8 wing from Plainview-Elgin-Millville
Courtney Jensen, a 6-2 post from Cornell, WI.

Alexia Tann, Beloit Memorial has signed with Highland Community College. The 5-8 guard averaged 11 ppg this past season. From the Beloit Daily News.

Lene Lox has signed with Upper Iowa. Lox played the last two years at Southeastern CC in Burlington, Iowa. Before that she played with Union HS in Illinois. The 6-0 perimeter averaged 13 ppg last year.

Kathleen Reynolds of Sioux City East is headed to Northern State. The 5-7 guard averaged 15.5 for East this past year. From the Sioux City Journal.

SEASON WRAPS
UW Green Bay had their year end banquet and passed out their awards.

Nebraska's season is reviewed.

New Mexico had their banquet last night and passed out their awards. Amy Beggin of Roseville won the Reaching for the Stars award.

AAU TOURNAMENTS
The Mississippi River Basketball High School Spring Shootout will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Sauk Rapids High School. The are looking for a few more teams. Contact Chris Lewis at clewdogg@hotmail.com or

The South Dakota Lightning Summer team will feature the following players:
5-9 Tara Heiser, Watertown- verbal to SDSU
5-8 Steph Paluch, Pierre- verbal to SDSU
5-11 Abby Burbach, Yankton
6-1 Alyssa Kraning, Viborg
5-8 Kela Cihak, Avon
6-3 Katie Lingle, Pierre- verbal to SDSU
5-6 Sage Knudsen, Viborg
More players will be added. Their first tournament is next weekend in Sioux Falls.
