WEEKEND RESULTS
The Coaches All Star games wrapped up yesterday. 2A won the title for the first time with a 98-60 win over the 3A team. Brianna Mastey had 21 for 3A and is featured in the write up in the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

In MYAS Events
Metro Stars 19s beat Northern Lights 55-21 in the Wayzata 19 tournament
43 Hoops Olson finished 3-0 at the Hopkins 17 tournament
MN Thunder finished 3-0 at the Wayzata 16 tournament. They beat MN Dynamite 36-28 during the event. The week before Dynamite beat Thunder.

WINDY CITY
The Mpls Lady Cats finished 4- 0 with a impressive win over Ill. Blaze 64 - 45.
They were scheduled to play in the 6 pm Championship game but elected to hit the road so that kids can make it to school on Monday. MLC showed up and played very well. Two years in a row Lady Cats have reached the finals in this tournament.

Tacita Gonzalez (St. Paul Johnson), Brianna Williams (Hopkins) & Sarina Baker (DeLaSalle) were all acknowledged as all-Tournament within their pool, selected by the three opposing pool coaches.

In the 16 division, the cold-shooting Suns fell to a red hot North Tartan Crosby 16U team Sunday morning by an overwhelming score of 62-30. The Suns played their 3rd place game at 2:15 Sunday while North Tartan played for their pod championship at 7:15 Sunday night.

DEEP SOUTH
The NE Judds CSS 15U (Cornhusker Shooting Stars) finished 3-2 in 4th place of the top 15U bracket (16U select)
3rd Place Game
Ohio Hardwood Heat 56- NE Judds CSS 49 The Judds erased a 20 point halftime deficit, to pull within 1 late, but the rally fell short. Finished in 4th at the first tournament of the year (only 2 losses to teams that finished 2nd and 3rd). The remaining 8 tournaments will take place in June and July across the nation.
NE Bison CSS 17U finished 4-1 and as consolation champs of the top tournament braceket (17U signature).
NE Bison CSS 64- Dayton Lady Hoopstars 51 The Bison rebounded with 4 straight wins, after its first round two point loss to MN NC Heat.

COACHING NEWS
Wichita State will have a meet and greet with new women's basketball coach Jody Adams on April 23.

HALL OF FAME
Iowa State women's basketball coach Bill Fennelly will be inducted into the Quad-City Sports Hall of Fame on April 30.
