Katie Wrobel put TWS16 out in front for good with a post up at 26-24. Robinson scored on a lay up for NT to make it 33-30. TWS16 then scored on seven straight possessions on a 16-4 run to break the game open. The last three possessions on that run were three point plays. The first a Brittany Gregorich & one and then two from behind the arc from Alberson and Katie Wolff. This made the score 49-34. NT did have a 10-0 run to cut the lead to 49-44 with 4:24 left. Miranda Speckel contributed four points in the run. TWS16 snapped out of their five possession drought on a put back by Whyte. Bryant scored on a transition lay up after a steal by Speckel to make it 51-46. NT got as close as 53-49 after a three from Geske from the top of the key with 44.1 seconds left.
