Iowa Elite lost to Roanoke Stars 49-41 in the Deep South Classic.

NAYS TOURNAMENT
In the NAYS tournament in Dubuque on Saturday the Eastside Warriors lost to Waukon 30 to 41 as reported earlier. The Eastside Warriors went on to win against NUIC 45 to 44 -- which was the exact score reported for Waukon vs. NUIC.
There were only three girl high school teams at the tournament

GRANNY BALL
The Iowa Granny League got to play on the Wells Fargo Arena before the Harlem Globetrotters on Sunday. Players are over the age of 50 and the rules are 6-6 style. From the Des Moines Register.
