On Sunday Midtown Lady Monarchs lost to MN Lady Suns 14 Gold 48-40. The game was close all the way and MLM had a 4 point lead with about 5 minutes to go. The Monarchs attempted to run some time off the clock, but it didn't work out the way they planned. The Monarchs Tory Rule, who had sat out the last game and a half, played with her bruised/sprained ankle. The Monarchs only shot 27% from the field and 45% from the line, and missed a number of easy ones. The Suns played MN Lady Cats 14 for the 1-4 championship. The MN Lady Cats 14 blew out MO-Valley Eclipse 14 by about 20 in their semi-final.

They opened with a 38-36 win over Michigan Crossover
They lost the remaining games 63-51 to DFW Gold; 58-57 to NY Silver Bulletts; and 59-53 to Essence Girls.
