This game took place on Sunday, April 15
MIDWEST ELITE EXPOSURE SHOWCASE
Menomonie WI
Platinum Division Championship
TEAM WI SELECT 17 68, TEAM WI SELECT 16 34

The 17s dominated the 16s by doubling the score 68-34. The 17s allowed only six 2 point field goals for the game--three each half. The size and power of the 17s left no doubt to the outcome.

It didn't start off that way. It looked as if the 3ball was going to give the 16s a shot at the upset. Courtney Doucette had two 3s and Brandi Whyte added another to go up 9-2. It took awhile for the 17s to heat up, but once they did they were sizzling. The 17s started 2/8 on their possessions. They finished the rest of the half 16/22. That would translate into a 159.1 pp100 and .727 floor %. The 17s had the size advantage and they exploited every inch. The 17s had 7 points on second chancers, and 9 in transitions. The 17s led 40-20 at half.

There was no real mystery in the second half. The 17s cooled off somewhat. They had 9/10 scoring possessions in the middle of the half. Kaylee Cardinal had five points in the stretch. the 17s continued the double up 68-34.
