BIG TOURNAMENT LEFTOVERS
DEEP SOUTH
Tayler Hill was named MVP of the Deep South Classic. Her team NC Heat won the 16 Sponsored division.

WINDY CITY
MN Suns 14U Gold beats MPLS Lady Cats 14U on a last second shot. The game was close the entire time. Suns had a 2 point lead when the Cats tied it 40-40 with 9.2 seconds left in the game. Suns drove down the court and had the ball knocked out of bounds. McKelvey inbounded the pass to Kayla Hulsebus who made a clutch 3 from the corner with 1.9 seconds left to give the Suns the win.

The Suns 13 team ended up 2-2 in the Windy City. The Suns won the 1st game 70-37 to an Iowa team, then beat a Chicago team, then lost by 2 to a WI team and finally lost to a 15U IN team by 8.

NATIONAL RECORDS
Champlin Park has set a new NATIONAL record with 678 made free throws and 939 attempted on the year. From the MN BB record site run by Matt Peterson.

BIG SHOW
Big Show Has 1 Opening
The Miss Basketball Big Show college exposure tournament for teams with players who will be 9th & 10th graders next year has just one opening left. The event already has 31 teams from 11 states, including Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.
The Big Show is July 5-8 in Kearney, Nebraska, at the University of Nebraska-Kearney Health & Sports Center and the new KCHS Activities Center. All teams will play 5-8 games in this NCAA certified event. Nearly 200 colleges scout our Miss Basketball Showcase in July and this new tournament will feature the younger teams from many of the programs that compete in that event. This event offers top flight competition and unbeatable facilities!

SUMMER LEAGUE
Champlin Park will host a summer league on Tuesday nights beginning June 12th. Games will be played at 6 and 7 pm.Teams in the league include Totino-Grace, Fridley, Andover, Anoka, Osseo, Maple Grove, Park Center, and Columbia Heights. there will be two five team divisions.

LAST WEEKEND
In the MYAS Coon Rapids 17 Event St. Michael-Albertville beat MN Norther (Cambridge-Isanti) 36-30.

THIS WEEKEND
Here is the AAU schedule for this weekend. All games are at Lakeville South.
