MINNESOTA REPORTS
WINDY CITY CLASSIC RESULTS
The East Metro Elite 17s won all 3 games on Saturday. The first beat a team from Canada; in the second game they beat Illinois Southside, in the third game they beat Illinois Full Package (white) . EME won the pool and played in one of 8 semi-final games on Sunday morning. EME beat the Michigan Panthers on last minute on clutch free-throws. In the semifinal game EME lost to Missouri Team Excel by one. EME led most of the game, more then once by 10 points. Carolyn Mobley from North St. Paul had a last shot with two seconds left on the clock and just missed.
DEEP SOUTH
In case you missed it NC Heat did win the tournament in the 16 sponsored division. The South Carolina 76er game was transposed.
AAU TOURNAMENTS
15/16 DIVISION
At Bethel: the Riders won the bracket play on Sunday with a 43-39 win over Lakeville North.
14 DIVISION
The MN Stars took the championship with a 69-50 win over the Rochester Shock. The Stars lost in pool play to the Shock 45-37.
MYAS TOURNAMENTS
17 DIVISION
No word on the winner at Coon Rapids.
Chaska won four games at the Chaska venue.
Net Master won the North St. Paul event with a 50-43 win over the Crimson.
16 DIVISION
The Lady Hawks beat Lakeville North 44-37 at St. Louis Park
15/16 DIVISION
Rochester was undefeated in pool play at Armstrong.
15 DIVISIONS
Woodbury was undefeated in pool play at St. Louis Park II Blue
MN Heat beat Elk River 25-15 in St. Louis Park III
No word on Coon Rapids
THIS WEEKEND
Of course it is All Star Weekend. Action takes place at Rochester on Saturday at 6 pm with A vs AAA. AA plays AAAA at 8pm. The 3rd place and championship games move to St. Thomas at 12:30 and 2 pm on Sunday.
AAU: Schedules are not yet up for the tournaments this weekend scheduled for St. Cloud and Bethel.
MYAS: This weekend action takes place at Champlin Park; Coon Rapids, and Wayzata for the 17s. The 16s also will be at Champlin Park.
