DISTRICTS OPEN TONIGHT
The Sioux City Journal highlights the teams involved in their area in the upcoming district showdowns with 1A's George-Little Rock, and 2A's Battle Creek-Ida Grove highlighted amongst others.

The Des Moines Register looks at three players with three different skills: Shot blocking for Rachel Thune of Des Moines Christian; scoring for Jennifer Jorgensen of Southeast Webster-Grand; and rebounding for Mikayla Sims of Waterloo East.
