HAWAII CHAMPIONSHIPS
Punahou won the D1 championship behind a record breaking 37 points by Shawna-Lei Kuehu. Punhou repeated as champs and has won three of the last four. Story from the Honolulu Advertiser.
Kalani won the D2 title beat defending champs Kamehameha Hawaii for their first state championship. Again the Honolulu Advertiser tells the tale.

Farmington has hired Jason Berg as coach. He coached the boys at Farmington from 1994-98. Story is from the This Week paper.
Missy Majerus is the new coach at Spring Lake Park. She has been the coach of Northland Community College the last two years. Northland was 3-19 last year. This is Majerus bio from Northland CC. The email on that site may not work anymore.

Venice, California will replace Louisville Christian, KY in the Sacajawea tournament held in Sioux City to be held in December.

Next up: the Out & Abouts will be coming pretty fast starting tonight. I will be at Forest Lake watching the 14s, 15s, and 16s today and tomorrow. The plan is to watch at least six, maybe seven games today. I will try to get some of the games out tonight. If not they will come out during the week. Add on the championship games from tomorrow and there will be plenty of games to read and players to evaluate.
