Molly Mathiowetz, Sleepy Eye St. Mary's has a degenerative bulged herniated disc (#5 lumber). This back disorder has kept her out of the line up so far this year. She has been allowed recently to take part in warm ups.

Dick Simpson, Brandon-Evansville won his 400th game on D22 vs Henning 52-32. Simpson's career record is now 400-211 with 10 Little Eight conference Championships, 3 District titles, 2 Section 5A titles, and 1 State A Championship. He has won coach of the year awards 4 times in the Little Eight, once in district, and twice in sections. He was named to the MN Girls Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2001.
