IKM beat #1 1A Charter Oak-Ute 54-38. COU beat IKM in the 1A finals last year 63-61.

Winona Cotter beat Rochester Lourdes 57-49. This was Cotter's first win in 47 games against Lourdes, and Coach Pat Bowlin's first win against these two catholic foes. In the first matchup in the year on D6 Lourdes won 52-35. Jenny Gilbertson led Cotter with 23. Cotter started the game with a 9-0 run, and finished with an 11-2 run.
Wabasha-Kellogg beat Elgin-Millville 61-54. EM was ranked 8th in the class A poll.
#3AA Barnesville beat DGF for the second time this year 51-45. DGF was ahead 34-33, but Barnesville went on a 9-0 run to go up 42-34. That proved to be the back breaker.

Bellevue East (#2A) beat the #1 4A Iowa team Sioux City North 65-56. It was SC North's first loss this year.

Sam Bialka, Holdingford reached the 1000 point mark with 17 in a 77-51 win over BBE.

Katie Zimmerman, Green Bay East reached the 1000 point mark with 23 points in a 65-53 win over GB Southwest. She is the first from East to reach the milestone.
Carrie Spindler, Stratford passed the 1000 point mark in a 85-53 win over Edgar. Spindler had 32 in the game.
