The Big 9 faces an uncertain future. Winona and Albert Lea are asking out of the conference due to football. The three Rochester schools, and Owatonna are still growing, while the others are stable or declining. Nothing has been decided, but the conference is trying to adjust to the population differences.

Amy Siebert, MN Deaf reached the 1000 point mark with 20 points in a 42-37 win over Cannon Valley Lutheran. She is the 4th MN Deaf player to reach the 1000 peak.
