Preacher Roe, a pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers, died Sunday in Missouri. What you probably didn't know was that Roe coached girls basketball in Arkansas back in the 40s and was involved in a brawl which resulted in a fractured skull. From the Detroit News.
