GAMES WANTED
Minneapolis South's schedule is now at 24 games due to last minute cancellations (Chicago Whitney Young & Becker). South would very much like to play a full schedule, so if there's any teams out there looking to pick up a game please contact them ASAP at ahmil.jihad@spps.org

Bloomington Jefferson looked strong at the Jefferson Jaguar Jamboree. The Jaguars were led by senior all-state soccer players, and D1 soccer recruits, Alex Koller and Lauren Sommers. 6-0 Sophomore sensation Anna Smith is looking to have a big year in her second year in the Jags starting lineup. A strong group of underclassmen is lead by ninth grade guard Brittney Scherber, an open enrollment student from Prior Lake, and fellow ninth grade guard Cassie Anderson, who was a starting guard on the Bethany Academy varsity team as an 8th grader last season. 8th grader Brooke Fritzlar also looked strong in her varsity debut off the bench for the Jaguars.

IOWA:
Sioux City West beat Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn 60-52 after trailing by five to start the fourth quarter on Saturday. From the Sioux City Journal.

ILLINOIS
There were six tournament champions decided on Saturday night in Western Illinois. From the Quad City Times.
