Iowa beat Texas Tech 56-48 at the Paradise Jam. Wendy Ausdemore (TriCenter, IA) had 17 points for the Hawkeyes.

Wisconsin beat Villanova 47-45 at the Paradise Jam. Alysa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) led the Badgers and both teams with 12 points.

South Dakota State beat Illinois 62-60 in Cancun. SDSU trailed by 13 in the second half. Kristin Rotert (McCook Central, SD) had 26 points for SDSU. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had 22 points for Illinois.
The Sioux Falls Argus Leader called it a "Tropical Escape."
