Gophers Subway Classic Champs, DeHaan 1000

BIG 10 RESULTS
Minnesota won the Subway Classic with a 87-63 win over Yale. MVP Emily Fox led the Gophers with 17 points. Katie Ohm (Elgin-Millville) and Jackie Voigt (Park-Cottage Grove) had 15 points each for the Gophers. Kaitlyn Lillemoe (Hopkins) did not score for the Bulldogs.

Michigan upset #13 Vanderbilt 50-42. Carly Benson (Carney-Nadeau, MI) had 10 points for the Wolverines.

#21 Purdue beat Oakland 68-40. Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill, MI) had 4 points for Purdue. Brittany Carnago (St. Clair, MI) and April Kidd (Grand Rapids Central, MI) had 8 points each for Oakland.

#20 Auburn beat #17 Ohio State 87-80 in overtime. Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron, MI) did not score for OSU.

Arkansas beat Northwestern 60-44.

Iowa beat Providence 64-46 to win the Hawkeye Challenge. Kachine Alexander (Benilde-St. Margaret's) had 15 points for Iowa. Brittany Dorsey (Detroit Cass) had 4 points for Providence.

Michigan State beat Quinnipiac 81-48 in the TD Banknorth Classic. Alyssa DeHaan (Grandville, MI) went over the 1000 point mark with 21 points.

Temple beat Illinois 66-47. Shenita Landry (Milwaukee King) had 14 points for Temple. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had 17 points for Illinois.

Wisconsin beat Canisius 69-54. Alyssa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 10 points for Wisconsin. Ellie Radke (Monroe, WI) had 13 points for Canisius.
