Minneapolis Southwest beat St. Paul Como Park 66-21. SW started the game with a 21-0 run. Southwest was lead by freshman guard Mariah Adanene. She finished with 15 points, 6 steals & 4 Rebounds in her Southwest Debut in only 18 minutes. Junior Forward Laura Maltby had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals and Senior Center Britta Syverson finished with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals as well. It was the Como Park coaching debut of John Robinson, former St. Paul Central assistant and father of Angel Robinson, Miss Basketball 2007 and now playing at Marquette.
