TAYLOR VERBAL
The Cedar Rapids Gazette has more on the Theairra Taylor (St. Paul Central) verbal to the Hawkeyes. Also with a report is the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Also making a verbal to Iowa is Gabrielle Machado of Pontiac Northern.
Machado is the 27th player overall in the Michgan 2009 class to verbal and the 22nd headed to a D1 program.

SCRIMMAGE
Hopkins will host a 10 team scrimmage on Saturday, November 22.

HALL OF FAME

Jay Loven has been hired as the new girls basketball coach at Swanville, MN. From the Morrison County Record.

EXHIBITIONS
Chicago Loyola beat Aurora 92-40. Lindsey Sebetic (Kenosha Tremper) had 3 points for CL.

Western Michigan beat Olivet 81-48. Brenna Bankston (Frankfort, MI) had 16 points for WMU.

Marquette beat UW Parkside 67-46. Krystal Ellis (Racine St. Catherine) and Jocelyn Mellen each had 9 points for Marquette. Angel Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 8 for the Golden Eagles. Jadee Rooney (Markesan, WI) had 13 for UWP.

Northern Illinois beat St. Xavier 73-67. Jessie Wilcox (Oshkosh West) had 13 points for NIU.

Houston beat the Houston Jaguars 70-61. Jasmine Johnson (Omaha Central) had 13 for the Cougars.
