Hayden Verbal; Gophers, Hawkeyes Win Exhibitions

Kimetria Hayden of Dallas Lincoln has verballed Baylor. The 5-11 guard/forward 17.9 points for the 4A Champs last season.
Hayden is the 20th known player from Texas 2009 class to verbal.

Minnesota beat Concordia St. Paul 69-54. Emily Fox had 15 to lead the Gophers. Zoraa Quoie (Woodbury) had 15 for CSP.

Iowa beat Quincy 88-57. Wendy Ausdemore (TriCenter, IA) had 18 points for the Hawkeyes. Kachine Alexander (Benilde-St. Margaret's) started and had 10. Kamille Wahlin (Crookston) and Hannah Draxten (Fergus Falls) had 7 and 5 points respectively.

Michigan State held their Green & White scrimmage on Sunday.

Iowa State beat Buena Vista 74-37. Heather Ezell (Springfield Kickapoo, MO) had 12 points for ISU. Amanda Nisleit (Woodbury) had 8 points. Katie Ebel (Cherokee, IA) had 10 points for BV.

Kansas beat Fort Hays State 93-37. Kelly Kohn (Adrian, MI) had 13 points for the Jayhawks.

Bradley beat Lewis 77-69. Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia) had 18 for the Braves. Renee Frericks (Forest Lake) had 9 and Hanna Muegge (Hopkins) had 4 for Bradley. All three started.

Western Illinois beat Culver-Stockton 76-41. Lindsey Wutt (Waterford, WI) had 5 points for WIU. Anne Borgertpoepping (Owatonna) added 4.

Vanderbilt beat Tusculum 98-40. Amy Malo (Fairmont) had 7 points.

Lake Superior State beat Alaska Anchorage 70-65 in overtime in Orlando. Ronlea Peterson (Midland Bullock Creek) had 14 for LSSU. Rebecca Kielpinski (Mandan, ND) had 11 points for AA.

#19 USC Aiken beat SW MN State 76-63. Sara Leidall (Rochester Century) had 18 points for SW. Earlier the Mustangs beat American International Leidall had 20 in this contest. Southwest started the tournament by beating #12 Delta State. Leidall and Heidi Kimmes (Cannon Falls) each had 12.
