Anne Berner of Forest Lake has verballed Rhode Island. The 6-4 center averaged 15.8 ppg for the 16-11 Rangers.
Berner played this past summer with NC Heat.
Berner was All Suburban East in 2008
Berner made the gbbrecruit Defensive 3rd team in the summer of 2008.

Berner is the 33rd player overall in the Minnesota 2009 class to verbal and the 18th headed to a D1 program.
Berner is the 4th player from NC Heat to verbal joining Katya Leick, Megan Nipe and Tempestt Wilson with D1 verbals.
