THREE OHIO VERBALS
Kelsey Berger of Mentor HS has verballed the Air Force Academy. Mentor is a 5-11 guard/forward that averaged 10 ppg last season. From the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Chelsea Bowker of Columbiana Crestview has verballed University of Buffalo

Brittany Reddy of Strongsville HS has verballed Armstrong Atlantic which is a D2 school. Reddy is a guard.

Updated: Tanija Beasley of Harvest Preparatory has switched her verbal from Robert Morris to Texas Southern

This pushes the total Ohio 2009 verbals to 56 with 44 headed to D1 programs and 11 headed to D2.

JAMBOREES & SCRIMMAGES
IOWA: The 61st Annual CIML Kiwanis Jamboree will be held at the Knapp Center at Drake University on November 22. Participants include boys and girls teams from Waukee, Ankeny, Valley, Urbandale, DM East, Marshalltown, Ottumwa, Dowling Catholic, DM North, Ames, Mason City, Indianola, Fort Dodge, Roosevelt, Southeast Polk, Lincoln, Hoover, and Johnston. More information and the schedule is available at the Kiwanis website. The first contest starts at 8:20 in the AM and the last one starts (for the girls) at 7:50 pm.

MINNESOTA: Princeton will hold its 5th annual Jamboree Scrimmage on Nov. 22. Teams included: Chisago Lakes, Shakopee, Meadow Creek, Anoka, Pine City, Spring Lake Park, Richfield, and Princeton. Half-Games will be held later that afternoon...

Princeton coach Matt Stueber and his wife welcomed baby girl Isabella (2026) on Monday, October 20.
