SLIP UP
Cretin-Derham Hall was supposed to play at Mounds View for the last conference game for each team (and also Mounds View's senior night). Right before the game started, someone realized that Cretin has already played 26 games this year and thus could not play a 27th, which would have been Mounds View. CDH had scheduled too many games so they couldn't play the last conference game and it will have to be a forfeit. CDH couldn't even play the game as a scrimmage because rules don't allow uniforms, officials, keeping score, etc. for a scrimmage.
The sad thing is that all the girls end up on the losing end of this one. Both teams lose their last game before the playoffs. Mounds View especially gets jobbed as their girls don't get to play on their own senior night.
