Northwestern beat Penn State 70-58. It was NW's first conference win. Janessa Wolff (Park Rapids) had 2 for PSU. Melissa Miller (Breck) did not score for NW.

Purdue beat Michigan State 69-59. Lakisha Freeman (Saginaw Arthur Hill) had 16 for Purdue. Alyssa DeHaan (Grandville, MI) had 15 for MSU. Mia Johnson (Mpls North) added 14 for the Spartans.

Rochester won the State tournament with a 60-47 win over Anoka-Ramsey. I reported on this game yesterday. Here is the Rochester Post Bulletin's version.

Host Ridgewater finished 3rd with a 83-49 win over Central Lakes. From the West Central Tribune. Hilary Groothuis (MACCRAY) had 23 for Ridgewater. Becky Skiba had 14 for Central Lakes.
