GRAB BAG
Since coach Teas didn't want to go to Ironwood, Michigan or to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to watch playoff action in those states there will be no Out & About tonight. There are no HS games in Minnesota. There are no CC games until the weekend. But the Grab Bag is full--

COLLEGE REPORTS
D1
Vermont beat New Hampshire 61-54. Sofia Iwobi (Fairfield Maharishi) had 2 for Vermont. And there you have the lowest, and smallest High Five for the year.
D2
Metro State beat Colorado Christian 71-64. Alyssa Benson (Minnetonka) had 10 for Metro State. Jodie Krall (Solon, IA) had 4 for CC.

Iowa's Krista VandeVenter (Osseo) does a Q&A.

STATE TOURNAMENT & INTERNET
Once upon a time you could watch the Iowa State tournament from the comfort of your own easy chair for free on the internet. Now it will cost you. You can listen for free but the video will be $9.95 per game. The Iowa High School Sports Network has more.

2000, 1000 MILESTONES
Here is a comparison of last years and this year milestones in Minnesota
2000 POINTS
2007 season: 5-2007, 1-2009
2008 season: 5-2008, 1-2009
Pretty much the same
1000 POINTS
2007 season: 49-2007, 20-2008, 8-2009, 1-2010
2008 season: 45--2008, 15-2009, 2-2010
you can see that the 2010 class and 2011 class have not had the same success as other 2008 and 2009 class.
So for total milestoners: 2008---70, 2009----25; 2010---3, 2011---0
Odd fact: Kelsey Jacobson has 1035 points just counting three pointers. She has 1545 total points. Jacobson has 345 threes, 15 away from the career record of 359.

Here are the 2007 and 2008 list of milestones. If I am missing any one (and some folks have been kind enough to send the information) go to my profile and email me.
