EQUALITY?
There is a discrepancy in the way the Des Monies schools have set up their basketball programs. The girls have Varsity-JV-Freshman teams while the boys have Varsity-JV-Soph-Freshman A & B teams. The numbers don't add up. From the Des Moines Register.
This looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

MILESTONES
Katelin Oney of Cedar Rapids Washington moved up to No. 4 on the Warriors’ five-player girls’ basketball scoring chart Friday. Oney moved past Alyssa Green and has scored 1,121 points.

Also,Cedar Rapids Kennedy girls’ basketball coach Dennis Roloff picked up his 250th career win when the Cougars defeated Cedar Rapids Jefferson, 64-50, on Friday. Roloff is 250-125 in 16-plus seasons.
