AFTERNOON GRAB BAG
14 CENTS AN HOUR

In Doug Whitely's column in the Fond du Lac Reporter he looks at the coaching profession from the monetary rewards (a whopping 14 cents an hour) to all the things that conspire to work against the coaches desires: expectations....overprotective, unrealistic parents....weasley, spineless administrators....players not willing to pay the price... and even coaches themselves.
This column was written with the Oakfield walk out in mind.

TEAM OF THE WEEK
The Lynx have named their latest teams of the week, but I can only find one posted.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association is considering running a weekend basketball camp for Sophomores and Juniors with colleges invited. From Tom Markowski's column in the Detroit News.

Brianna Tisch of Chaska had a break out game last night in the 2 OT win against Kennedy, scoring a season high 21 points (she scored all of Chaska's points in the first overtime). Courtney Boylan had 14 and Brooke Brown 12.
